A7iii shutter life

Does anybody know what the official shutter life for the A7iii is?

I am not expecting it to be the 500,000 figure that the A7Riii has but I do wonder what it is as I cannot find it listed anywhere.

Hi Ian,

Welcome to our community!

I wasn't able to find this info on Sony's website or the camera's manual. I passed on your question and will get to you with the answer once it's available.

Hi Ian,

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get an exact number of shutter releases to measure its lifetime. But with the Alpha line up being a flagship product I believe it wouldn't come second to another camera.

Thanks again batee5, I am sure it compares favourably with the DSLR's I also use.

I do have to say that I am amazed with the camera/ lens combo and have just returned home after a trip to London for the Angel festival where my only camera was the Sony - very happy.

Thank you again for your support and responses.

All the best,

I am very interested in a cost effective adaptor to allow me to use my Nikon G lenses with full AF etc on the A7iii so would appreciate any info on that please?

I do also have the superb Godox AD200 that I currently use with my Nikons for portrait work, I have in turn just ordered the Godox XIT-S TTL 2.4G trigger as well as the Godox 350S to use on camera as well as off camera with the Ad 200 - they are both listed as working with the A7iii so hope that is the case.......time will tell.

Thank you to everyone who has responded to this post and all the valuable information passed on.
