I had to factory reset my Sony bravia after it received a software update which caused a problem with router Wi-Fi settings. This has caused a problem with Amazon video which was operating fine till factory reset. I can sign into amazon video with code given on the screen and sign into my amazon account as normal and see my android t. v is a registered device, but when I access it through amazon prime app it keeps asking me to start your 7 day free trial? It doesn't seem to recognise that I already signed up.

If you try that and it still doesn't work then you may have to bite the bullet and contact the broadband provider just to be sure the service was activated properly.
