Help needed please.
An update message appeared this morning when my husband switched the TV on. He allowed the update and now we have a message that keeps popping up-
"Samba Services Manager Has Stopped
X Close App"
He's tried to close it but it reappears after a few seconds and stays there in the middle of the screen.
We've never enabled Samba and don't want to. So until now every time we've switched the TV on and the enable Samba message pops up we've clicked "later". However, even that isn't appearing now and all that appears is the Samba Services Manager Has Stopped message.
How can we get rid of this message please and also how can we permanently disable Samba.
Got the same issue,
My Tv is going to be retuned to the store is this is not resloved pretty soon
@ElaineEst It's an already known issue. It usually happens to people that disabled the Samba TV app in the Android's App settings (not just in the Samba TV options. The app itself). The best way to fix it is to re-enable the app and then refuse to use it in the Samba TV options when asked.
Otherwise a "Reset to factory settings" would fix it as well. But that would take longer and it can be much more annoying to restore all apps installed, their data (like the login credentials) and the TV settings (like the Picture options, list of channels, etc.).
