Hi
In the last few days my TV - only 4 months old - has started making an awful noise sometimes when I use the remote control. It is best described as a buzzing, lasting only a fraction of a second, and happens most if I'm moving quickly through menus. It does it if I have "system sounds" on or off. I haven't noticed it when I'm just watching TV.
I've done a full factory reset tonight and it's still doing it.
Can anyone advise as to whether this is a hardware fault or a software fault? I'll be annoyed if it has gone wrong - especially as this one replaced one that only lasted two weeks before one of the HDMI ports stopped working properly!
Thanks
Hi redstu12,
Where's the sound coming from? TV speakers, soundbar or the TV itself?
If it's coming from a soundbar or audio system, you might want to change the HDMI cable. Please make sure to use a good quality cable.
In both other cases I would recommend to get in touch with support or a repair centre.
Cheers

Thanks for your reply. It's definitely coming from the TV but I couldn't tell you whether it is internal or the speakers. I don't have any external audio connected.
Guess I'll have to talk to someone.
Thanks again
