Series Record

Hi,

I have tried searching and found a couple of people asking this question but no replies.  Is there any way to series record a programme on Sony TVs (I have the KD-43XE8005).

I know you can set a repeat record for the same time each week, but often programmes shift about (for example Grand Prix coverage).  in my old PVR it would account for this and record no matter when it starts.  Then you would have the series to chose from when looking at recorded programs.

It is can't do this then it seems like a bit of a miss to me - makes the recording fairly pointless and I'll end up using my PVR through the TV which is annoying.

I've had a search through the manuals and I can't find an answer to your question.  Unfortunately I don't think this is possible to do.

I spent a long time trying. I didn't check before buying as I figured this was standard for any recording PVR or TV. Ah well.
