I have requested for my KD-43X75WL TV to be repaired. It won't turn on after having no issues the evening before.
No damage, power outages or changes happened overnight and none of the suggested solutions worked and it's been less than a year since I ordered it.
Requesting the repair was fine and I was informed it should be 4-5 working days.
When the company who is doing the repair contacted me they said they have ordered a part and will arrange a visit once they receive the part.
I waited for a few days then emailed the contractors who can't see the order tracking There request for an update by Sony hasn't received a reply.
I called and spoke to the customer support team who were very rude and told me the problem is the repair company's issue and that they won't chase for an update.
When I asked for my options if there's going to be a significant delay with the repair he ignored me and asked if I wanted anything else. I asked again and he repeated the same response.
With the TV being within warranty and the delay in the repairing process is there a way to get it replaced or do I have to wait for the repair company to get the part?(however long that takes)
