I have an old dcr-hc17e, and I hadn't switched it on for years.
Now, when I switch it on it prompts me for date adjustment, but the screen doesn't work.
I tried to calibrate the screen, and the touch function works, because I can press the X and it moves correctly, but it seems that it doesn't save the calibration thereafter?
So when I go back to the date reset it doesn't work. Therefore I can't play any of my tapes, or transfer them in my PC.
Any solutions?
