My phone won't charge unless it is off

Hey there,

I've had my Sony E5 since July and of lately I've had some charging issues. It started off as my phone occasionally charging whilst it was turned on, but now, it will go so far in its percentage increase then start to drop. The only way I have been able to resolve this is by turning it off.

I have also tried different USB leads but this doesn't seem to work either.

Are you using the original Sony wall charger? Did you try other wall chargers?

try to restart your phone in safe mode and charge it while it's in this mode.

How do I go about doing that?

Click on the blue link in my previous post. In safe mode all 3rd party apps are disabled, so we'll see if you could charge while in safe mood then we might conclude that one of your apps is causing this issue.

I have put my phone into safe mode and it is now charging perfectly. How do I find out which 3rd party app is draing the battery?
