bluetooth connection via headphones

I have just bought a pair of Cowin E7 wireless headphones.  I am trying to connect via bluetooth or NFC to my Sony CMT-X7CD music centre.  The "Pairing" on the music centre will flash but will not connect.  so what is the problem please?
