Hello, I recently bought a BDV-N590 Home Cinema ( http://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/all-in-one-home-cinema-systems/bdv-n590#reviews_awards_v2_default ) and I have it connected to a Philips 26PFL3606H 58/3000 Series TV LCD ( http://www.philips.ro/c-p/26PFL3606H_58/3000-series-tv-lcd-cu-tehnologia-digital-crystal-clear/speci... )but the displayed size seems to be bigger than the TV screen size even though I properly set the screen size.

It seems like you may have a problem in the setting on the TV side that does some overscan or redimension of the image received... On Sony TV's the best option on external input is to set it to Full Pixel that means "do nothing on what you get", there should be something similar on Philips too

Thank you very much, there was indeed an option that would translate to something like "Unscaled" in the Image Format in the adjustment section of the TV
