DZ660 HOME CINEMA - DIVX PLAY @ USB

Hi,

I have DAV-DZ660 Home Cinema System. When i bought my home cinema, there is no property for playing divx or mkv files with usb connection. But now i heard THAT DAV-DZ680 is capable to play divx with USB port.

Here is my question: IS THERE ANY WAY TO PLAY DIVX OR MKV FILES with USB PORT with DAV-DZ660 Home cinema System? Any module addition or software addition etc... Is it possible?

No Firmware update unfortunately - you could look at getting a Sony  SMP-N100 netbox possibly, would complement your existing setup and give you some network services as well as MKV & DIVX playback without duplicating your Blu-ray setup.
