I am considering buying a htzf9 soundbar to go with a new Sony 55 inch 87 television. If I purchase the wireless rear speakers can they be used as a stand alone speaker pair and out put the source to the rear speakers only? Rather than using the rear speakers as surround sound, I am thinking of using them as a wireless speaker in the kitchen for listening to music. I am assuming when doing this if it's possible I would just switch the sub off when using In this mode. Does anyone know if this is possible with this kit?
The source of the music would be either blu tooth from my phone, in future I may want to use Spotify which I can do through phone,Blu-ray player or I assume tv.
