I am having difficulty with the rdrhxd995b model dvd recorder. Everytime the box has finished a recording it powers down.. this is normal but when you start it up again the program list is wiped and has to be rescanned to locate all the channels otherwise there is just a black screen. This has just started happening resantly and ive tried everything to fix it with little to no joy.
I thought i fixed the problem when asked the box to scan from a differant RF channel. And it seemed to work incially but now if left for long periods of time the memory which stores all those channels is simply wiped and I have to rescan channels everytime I want something recording..
So whats the fix? ive seen similar questions, unanswered, so must be something wrong with the rdrxd model range?
