I bought an STR-DN1080 a couple of months ago. Less than a month into owning it the GAME HDMI input stopped working. I tried different cables, different sources, plugging the same source (an XBox One) into different HDMI inputs, etc., but the GAME input was no longer outputting any image or sound - it just showed the input icon and options prompt.
I returned it to the dealer who, after a week or so, confirmed the issue was known and that a firmware update would fix it at some point. I took the amp back and plugged the XBox into the VIDEO2 input and all was well.
This evening I set up an Amazon FireTV 4K and plugged it into the TV HDMI input. It worked fine so switched everything off and left it. Went to use it an hour later and I was getting no sound, then suddenly no image either. I went through the same troubleshooting as before and looks like I've lost another HDMI input.
Has anyone else had these problems, or can anyone confirm whether this is a known issue? I thought I'd check here before it goes back to the dealer again, as I'm running out of inputs!
Just to confirm I'm not running anything at 4K as my TV (an old Pioneer Kuro plasma) only supports 1080p.
