Kdl 50w829b and HT-CT60BT sound bar

i have just purchased both tv and sound bar, I am looking to sinc up the the tv remote so I can control the volume using one remote rather than the sound bar remote, can some one advise how to do this

Hi there

Unfortunately you cannot use a single remote control for this setup.  You cannot use the TV's remote control to control the volume of the soundbar.  This is because this soundbar only supports optical connections to the TV and not HDMI.  To do what you require, you would need a soundbar that supports HDMI-CEC (or Bravia Sync) functions.
