I have a Sony Bravia KDL-22EX320. I've just tried installing a USB hard disk drive to make recordings. It works with no problem but the USB socket always seems to be providing power to the drive which is always spinning (rather noisily, as it's an old drive). The power is on even when the TV is in standby mode.
Is there a way of preventing the USB socket powering the hard disk drive?
