Who can tell me how to access the bios in this vaio? Is there a more detailled view than the bios you'll access when you press F2 after booting? How 'bout settings of your HD and things like that?
Thanx in advance. Marco

hehehe, what are we like, glad to see we've stopped slagging the site off so much and started hugging each other instead !hugs.gif|___jive_emoticon_name=hugs|jivemacro=emoticon|class=jive_macro jive_emote|src=hugs.gif!
Well it's usable, though some of the posts are too small for me to see.
The thing is we can increase the size of our text but its all the other stuff, I'm having to squint a bit sometimes. But like you say at least it's more usable now !happy.gif|___jive_emoticon_name=happy|jivemacro=emoticon|class=jive_macro jive_emote|src=happy.gif!

Okay, back to the topic: what if I want to upgrade my (new) internal Toshiba HD for a Hitachi, much faster model? Do I have to access the extended bios, can I stay with the ' normal' bios and will it just recognice the new HD, mount it and boot the compu?
The normal BIOS will suffice.
