Can I recover Premiere etc from the K215S Recovery DVD?

I recently purchased a K215S Vaio & reformatted the HD & installed Win XP Pro. What I am interested to know is if I can recover the "bonus" applications from the recovery DVD? It isn't really a big deal, but I am just curious....

No, but if you had done an upgrade install maybe it would have been possible.

You should try doing that anyway, there's a lot of under-the-bonnet stuff to do with hardware functionality that you miss if you don't install from Sony's version. The Fn functions for instance don't work for a lot of people.
