I tried to install XP on my new VGN-FW21M Laptop because I want to use it for Pro Audio work and Vista just won't do. At the point where the Install tries to copy the installation files onto the hard drive I get the Blue screen of death. Can anyone help? I even tried to run a restored disk image from another machine copied onto the drive using Acronis True Image. The copy went ok but it crashes with a blue screen during windows startup. I looked at the BIOS but there are no setting you can change for the SATA drive. Is there another advanced page in the BIOS that you can get to?
