Hello scholar7.

Your laptop have no limit for hdd capacity. But you only have to be careful with just one thing.

Your unit has two hard drives, you need to be sure the unit you are going to replace is the slave (secondary) hdd not the master one.

Thanks for your reply franktfe,

I will look into your suggestion that there are 2 hard drives, since I was under the impression that there is just 1 physical hard drive which is split into 2 vitrual (or logical) ones by partitioning the disk.
