Motion Eye stopped working

Model: VGN-FE21H

I was able to use integrated camera "motion eye" till afternoon and in evening suddenly it just wont work. Its being displayed as "Unknown Device" under Device Manager - USB Controllers section.

Propert for this shows that no driver is installed and I have already tried in vain to install from C;/ as well as through recovery CD. Nothing works.

Does this mean that camera is gone or am I missing something.

Plz help !!!

Download the driver package from VAIO-Link. Maybe there is an driver update for you camera too.

Thanks for the reply...however before I read your response the problem was resolved...I might add i have no clue how as that day after posting to forum I had shut the system down and after some four hours or so when I rebooted it was all as usual....so while problem was resolved...cause was not known....:smileysad:
