Paint Pealing????

Hey

I recently bought a a417m, love it but the other day i notcied the paint work around the screen and on the casing seems to be pealing, has ths happened to anyone else...

I'm afraid quite a few people have reported this problem. Due to some unspecified EU directives, Sony changed their materials in the last year or so and build quality seems to have suffered quite a bit. I don't think the paint problem is really solvable in any easy way.

You could try ringing Sony to sort it out, but I have a feeling they might come out with the old "Its cosmetic and not covered by warranty" cr4p.

If you only just bought it (i.e. within the last two weeks), return it to where you had it from and either swap it for the same model, or get a refund.
