Hi,
I have a VAIO VGN-FS415M noteboook widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio).
I have also a LCD-TV with a 16:9 aspect ratio, with a DVI-I input port. I bought a VGA D-SUB <-> DVI-I cable and tried to connect notebook's VGA video output to TV.
The PC screen is correctly reproduced on TV screen, but, as soon as the cable is connected, the notebook screen image aspect ratio switches to 4:3, while on the TV screen ir remains at 16:9, so the image is horizontally distorted.
Why notebook video aspect ratio change?
Is there a way to make it not happen?
