hi all, I'm having a little problem with the cd drive on my vaio (grt715m), It randomly ejects cd,s and when i close the tray again it will eject again, this can go on for about 15min. does anyone have an idea what can cause this? tnx.
There is a possibility that the ribbon cable between the CD drive and motherboard is damaged or not seated correctly, but checking this out on a notebook is not an easy task, so before investigating this I suggest that you scan your system for Trojans/Viruses as there are a few out there that will do just what you have described.
