screen saver sticking on sony laptop vgn-a417m

Have just had my sony VGN-A417M for just about 2 weeks but yesterday when i left it for a few minutes and then came back the page i was working on had changed to the screensaver but the screensaver had frozen, any ideas what now could be causing this.

was it a pre-installed screensaver or one you installed yourself?

go to the options and check the settings for the screensaver.

Thanks for your reply it is pre installed in the windows xp package. It seems to happen when the machine is warm or have been using it a while.
