Sharing Files without an Infa-red port...
Hello,
Does anyone know how I can transfer files from one laptop to another. I have one with an infa-red port, my vaio does not. Other than burning files to disk (which will take forever...) and loading them onto my new machine, I was wondering if there was a quick n easy way?
I have the vgn n11m/w - I guess that model does not have bluetooth either.
Thank you.

The most easiest and quickest way would be to get a cross over network cable and hook the two together
then you can transfer files over the "network" from one laptop to another
Only other way is CDs or USB memory sticks

If you have iLink(Firewire) on both laptops then you can use it too. It's faster than the crossover way and it performes better too (short latency compared to LAN).
