Sony PCG-FR415M notebook not on sony sites?

Hi guys I was wondering why the sony Notebook PCG-FR415M isnt on many Sony sites for example here.......http://www.css.ap.sony.com/vaio/

Thats another thing about SONY. Why do I have to find out about New Notebooks through third-party dealers or others. I want to go to the SONY site and find all the news and stuff right there.

I wish they would stop giving us that "bend-over" feeling.

Hi, yes I want to know that too. I just got my PCG-FR415M and I can't find it anywhere. Like, I want to find out some stuff. It's not very clear. Why can't they deal with all their laptops.

Same prob with me, Grz 615m. They have the 615g and another variation, but not mine, it is really annoying!!!

i have a vaio fr870 that's a new model for all latin-america, but in the SONY US and EU the model doesn't exist....

If SONY would only read a couple of these threads here. They could propably improve their image and sales drasticly if they would value certain comments that are brought-up here.

If they would open up with a bit more information and transparency on their web-site... customers would be a whole lot more satisfied.

Speak up people... they will have to changes this sooner or later!

Yeah it's sad. They have a massive user forum with so many ideas, you'd think someone could use them sparingly.

A lot of the problems are due to Sony using different model numbers for different regions. Although the differences are minor - you will not find models designed for Europe on the US sites nor will you find models destined for Latin America on the European site.

Old models will of course disappear from the sales site but the driver updates for Euro models should still be available at Vaio Link. Other regions should use the support site for their region.

Message to the Administrators: If you have seen any good ideas or things that need changing then why dont you tell a programmer or the person concerned, it will help your customers a lot and it might even increase your sales!! Take note.
