Upadting SS Database which doesnt happen

My sister and I would really apreciate some help here. I own a Vaio Pocket 40GB and she owns an HDD Network Walkman.

We both use Sonic Stage to transfer music to and from our playes but recently Sonic Stage has been saying that its updating its databases and will restart when its done.

After Clicking 'OK' a small window pops up for a fraction of a second and says "Converting Sonic Stage Database". This then disappears and nothing happens.

I Cannot open Sonic Stage and I have tried reinstalling the version we both got with our players around Christmas Time (V. 2.1 and 2.3) and i have just tried V3.2 and none of them work.

I now get a new error when i run a different tool (OMG2OMA.exe) and i think it could help if you want to help me please.

I get a pop up message which says

"Cannot optimize the database because the database file version is not recent enough"

Could anyone help please

Try running the MDAC repair utilty from here

There are no guarantees with SonicStages database though.
