Vaio vpcw11s1e - Problem with recovery
Hello, I'm trying to recover a vaio netbook vpcw11s1e with Windows XP Home Edition to factory default.
From Vaio Recovery Utility i follow all steps to recover to factory default the computer, vaio recovery utility force to reboot, so the next step should be booting from the recovery partition and begin the recovery process, but computer boots again from windows xp partition.
I made recovery dvd from Vaio recovery utility, computer boots from dvd with no problem, recovery software show me the option for full recovery, when recovery process starts and is going to create again main partition show me an error message that a problem has happened creating partition.
I've performed a disk scan surface and no problem was found.
Maybe there is a physical problem with disk partition table?. Any other idea?
Thanks.

Hi rogarmn,
welcome to Questions & Answers..:smileyhappy:
Are you trying to recover using the HDD partition or using a set of recovery disc's..:smileyconfused:
Have you tried..
Removing any recovery disc's from the CD/DVD drive & then restarting your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F10 key repeatedly..
This should start the recovery process using the hidden HDD recovery partition.
Then follow the recovery instructions to complete the process
