I tried to connect my Vaio VGC-V3S to my TV using an S-Video cable via the S-Video jack that is available in the Vaio.
I did not get any picture or sound??? I bought the V3S to most the things it says it does and it does it well but it let me down on this point!!
I used to be able with my ex-PC with the Nividia software settings to change to secondary screen i.e TV. but this version of Nividia drivers has nothing whatsoever to be able to change its settings!
Real disappointment as I am sure for the price tag you would expect it has a decent graphics cards!
Do you know if there is a third party software available to enable me to do this????
Thanks
This model doesn't have TV out, thats an input
First of all i think u didn't check the specification..
that S-video is for input not for ouput to ur TV.. So only you can see ur movies from ur monitor ..
It is Nvidia chipset graphics card but this graphics card does not support TV Output.. So u have to check it out b4 u get this machine..
But it really won't dissapoint you about the specification.. this machine is gorgeous..
