VGN-FS215S slowstarter

I just bought a VGN-FS215S notebook.
After the password in Windows XP SP2 it takes about one to two minutes to see the desktop. Even when I start without the Virusscanner, this time doesn't change. Is this normal our is there a solution for this. I tried already to start without some ofthe the software I put on.

Sounds like there's a conflicting program

Go to Start > Run > MSCONFIG and remove unecessary start up items.

i've that problem, would have when i'm running 2 anti-virus and 2 firewalls. going to shut down norton and leave the other ones i've been testing run tomorrow. Avg and ZoneAlarm.
