This problem can happen when a new Wireless-N Router is connected to an older system capable of only B/G signals. If you have a wireless-N router, try turning off the N Sognal by setting the mode to B/G only. Does this solve the problem?
If this does not solve the problem, try updating the wireless drivers from the manufacturer's website.
