Wireless reception differences

Hi,
I am an EX VGN T series vaio user and got new SZ series laptop.
In the same area and same distance from the wireless router, T model reception is excellent SZ model reception is poor.
Is there anybody can explain it and give a solution?

I am assuming the old T series is a XP machine and the new SZ is a Vista machine. - There is your reason.

New drivers for the wireless card solves the problem. If it is the Intel 3945ABG card then here is the latest vista driver.
