I have a missed call notification on my home screen that I can't get rid of. I have read it, tried to clear it and blocked the number. I have restarted phone but it's still there. Side swipe won't get rid of the notification either. How do I get rid of it?
try going to Settings > Apps > Phone and press "Force stop". if it doesn't dismiss the notification, go to Settings > Apps > Phone > Storage > Clear data. it will not delete your contacts.
Easiest way I found is to shut down ie power off, then power up and the blue flashing light will be cleared until you have another missed call. My phone is the Xperia l1
I have the same thing happening on my Xperia ZX2. It was working fine till the last Sony update. I spoke to Sony support and they showed me how to do a forced stop on the phone app and then clear cache and clear Data which gets rid of it but now it is back again. I even did what amounted to a complete restore and lost all my photos which I thought were backed up 😥 and had to reset all my home screen but it has done it twice more. Not happy it worked fine before the update. Tried everything suggested on this forum and what Sony support told me.
Any more help would be appreciated. I should be having to clear it manually all the time
Hoping someone can help. My brand new Sony Experia 5 keeps showing missed calls, starting to rack up now! Cleared all my call history but alas still there ..... surely this can't be right for a flagship company/phone ..... any ideas please.
This is ridiculous, I brand new phone, not necessarily cheap either and already having issues. Restarting, shutting down, force stop not working. The only solution is get someone to call my phone to remove notification. Should have gone with Samsung
