My problem my phone Sony XA 2 closes apps by itself. I have tried a reboot and there was a yellow tool icon displayed. What does the symbol mean in the manual I can not find anything.

This is normally displayed if the system finds an error and tries to fix it during the start-up of the device.

Does the device boot up just fine and is working? If it does, there isn't anything to really be worried about. You can perform a software repair using Xperia Companion to hopefully fix this, but if everything is working, there isn't really any need to do so.

If you decide to perform the repair, remember to backup your data as the repair will delete all data stored in the internal storage.
