What should sim lock in service menu look like if phone is sim locked?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Ariana2991, sorry to hear about this.
It's not Sony who locks the devices as far as I know, as this is decision made by the operators and if they want the devices to be locked to them or not. In the Nordics where I'm situated, there is only one operator that still have an operator lock on devices bought from them.
The code that is used to unlock the network lock can't be changed either, so maybe the operator just changed your SIM PIN and did not provide the correct NCK code.
I would recommend that you get in touch with your Local support team and see if this is something that can be done without having to return the device to the US.
Keep me posted!
in mobile network setting it does not shows mobile network
Hi @Harshad123, welcome to our forum!
I'm not quite sure that I understand your question, would it be possible for you to elaborate?
You should always be able to see Mobile network under Settings > More or Settings > Network & Internet, depending on device and Android version even if you don't have a SIM card inserted in the device.
Thank you.
My Z5 Dual e6683
It is
SIM card 1:
[] Network 0
[] Network subset 0
[] Service provider 0
[] Corporate 0
[] SIM 0
It detect SIM but no network. I flash rơm ftf by flash tool but did not solve
Hi @Noname_vietnam, sorry to hear that.
Is there any difference if you put the SIM card in SIM slot 2 instead of SIM slot 1? Since the SIM card is detected, the SIM card reader works at least.
You can also try with a different SIM card, either if you get a new one from your operator or if you can temporarily borrow one from a friend, colleague or family member.
Let me know how it goes!
