Notification bar not swiping down.

After update to 8.0 the notifications bar cant be swiped down on the screen except in right had corner and if I'm really careful. On lock screen it works as before the update. My touch screen is working OK although no where near as sensative as before update.

XA1 To quit applications, I often have to turn off. Because Naviigationsleiste works neither before nor back. Do not understand the more like 1 year has passed and no solution offered by Sony

XA1  Um Anwendungen zu beenden muss ich oft auf ausschalten gehen. Weil Naviigationsleiste weder vor noch zurűck funktioniert. Verstehe nicht das mehr wie 1 Jahr vergangen ist und keine lōsung von Sony angeboten wird

Try this. 

Settings - apps & notifications - configure notifications - keep notifications (slide to on) 

This fixed my notification bar failure. Let me know how it goes.

Yeah man. That's my issue too. Even I swipe down the notification screen in lock screen and it works perfectly. But it doesn't work in other places.

Please prepare an other update to solve this annoying issue

I have this exact problem but I see that most of these comments are at least 6 months old with no answer - did anyone find a solution or ever get a respone from Sony?  I can learn to live without the swipe down if only I could delete the stupid notifications sitting there that I can't get rid of...

Confirmed problem still exists. After some updates it's ok. After another it isn't. Bottom buttons are not working correct after latest update.

I'm done and looking for another phone. Never Sony again. No fixes and worse no answers.

I can swipe down from front camera works every any contact to the right is hit and miss,also as mentioned works every time on lockscreen.Right edge of screen am suffering as others have mentioned with swiftkey keyboard found if i use gboard can get by ok by adjustments it allows.Althoughthis isnt ideal.

Install an app called "open notifications", it worked on my Xa1. An alternative solution I believe.
