sony XA won't turn on but led is red when connect charger

At night when I'm in a meeting, I wanted to take pictures / documentation of the meeting.
After I took the pictures, which happened to hang my phone lcd white and striped, 1 minute and then automatically restart and ended up stuck in the Sony logo and death can not turn back.
However, when I connect with a charger, led notification indicator is red, lcd keep turning off and not vibrating.
When The power button is pressed, there is no response at all.
I hope here can get a solution to get back to normal.
Thank you

What exactly "did work" for you? It seems to me like 2 last posts are fake and created to show that Sony Support is doing well... shame on you

@LoganTHC

Did you try the instructions in this post

You can not shoot such an accusation out of nowhere. If it did not help you, then maybe you have a different issue than them.

It's not an accusation - it's blutantly obvious... The advices from your support team didn't help anyone through 4 pages... Suddenly, at the end of the topic, right below your last post, 2 people "appreciated" your help and 1 of them is a one-time poster. Now it looks like Sony Support is doing a great job! Don't you think people are smarter than that?

The reason why your advices won't work for anyone is because having described symtoms means that battery socket is loosened and needs to be re-welded... In my country you pay about 10$ and you get it fixed by the next day although it is not common in countries like UK (US probably too) to fix things like that - if you return it with a warranty they will simply say "it's not worth fixing" and tell you to get a new phone (which you will have to pay about 50-150 quid for). Well maybe you are right and people aren't that smart -.-

Surely if it's within warranty and they replace it, it would be of no charge?

And also, just because someone is a one time poster, does not make their point or post invalid.

Your previous post was your first, does this mean users should ignore your concerns because you're obviously someone else pretending to be a user? No of course not.

Believe it or not, the advice given will indeed fix well over half of any issues with any mobile device, for the rest, there obviously will be times when software based solutions won't work, and this is when a users local support comes into the scenario, if it can be fixed, then that's great, if not then warranty services have options for users.

Less than 2 years old and my Xperia XA suddenly died whild taking some pictures last weekend. The battery was at about 80%. Tried everything to restart the phone but all I got was the dead battery screen flashing once in a while and the red charge light. I tried Sony Companion to repair the software with Sony Companion and that failed as well. I took the phone to Bell service provider who sold it to me and they couldn't get it working either. The guy advised me to get a another phone, but not a Sony.

Sony should admit there's an obvious problem with their Xperia phones and either fix the defective phones or refund all customers who bought their defective phones. Instead, Sony's strategy seems to be to ignore the complaints and pretend they know nothing about this problem. A legal firm should start a class action lawsuit against Sony. There's a billion dollars at stake for every 2 million defective phones that sold for an average cost of $500 each.

Can you try holding power button + volume up button for ten seconds until you feel it vibrate 3 times, then try powering up again.
