My phone has 16 gb of storage, so I moved apps into the SD card. Recently though, I've been getting messages saying that I'm low on storage but when I check it says I'm only using 200 mb.

Try to reformat the SD card

Goto Play store and find Files by Google

It helps you manage storage and gives advice about which files to delete.
