Hi @Freidoun, welcome to our forum!
Do I understand correctly that you are not able to send or receive MMS messages after updating your device?
If that is the case, I would recommend that you start with downloading the internet settings from your service provider in case that these have been removed from your phone.
To do that go to Settings > More > Internet settings > wait for the download and installation of the settings to complete > restart your device.
After the phone has been rebooted, try sending an MMS to your own number, that way you will see if it works both ways!
Let me know how it went!
well, it went nowhere! you are sony expert and supposedly should know about Z5. fyi, I go to setting>more> and there is NO Internet settings! my Z5 shows:internet settings>more>aieplane, NFC, Tethering & portable hotspot, VPN, Mobile networks and that's it. there is no Internet setting!
What am I supposed to do next?
Hi again!
That sounds strange, if you have an active SIM card in your phone the option should be at the bottom of the "More" menu in Settings. Make sure that you scroll down so you can see every option in this menu.
I would appreciate if you could also provide me with a screenshot of this menu with this setting missing. To take a screenshot, press and hold the ON/OFF button on your phone > Take screenshot.
You can add these APN settings manually in your phone in Settings > More > Mobile networks > Access Point names. Do note that you will need these specific settings for your operator so you will either have to contact them or if they have posted them on their homepage.
Some operators also provides a service where you can send a text message with a specific text and they will send you the correct settings that you need for both mobile data and MMS messages.
Let me know if that helps!

Thanks a lot for the picture!
Have you been able to get a hold of the MMS settings from your service provider yet so you can send and receive some nice pictures?
Let me know if it worked out in the end!
