Blemishes on Z3C rear lense

I've had my Z3C for a month and a half now and very happy with it except for my rear camera! There is what looks like a minute fingerprint on the lense, but on closer inspection it appears to be some sort of coating that is coming away!

Since noticing this, I have also noticed that light objects have turned very 'Glowy'

Notice the lights and the doorway!

I had a similar problem with an old Xperia mini, which, as was an old phone, I managed to use a drop of alcohol and clean the coating away, which rectified the problem and now takes very good pictures!

There's no visual scratches so should I do the same to my Z3C or send it for repair? Does the coating have a big effect? IE Polarization?

This is the first thing i noticed on my Z3C.

When i take pictures indoor, and if there coming light/Sunshine from a window it makes exactly the same thing from the picture you have (Light effect from the doorway).

I'm not sure you can help it with a drop of alcohol. Maybe its a camera fault. I really cant see any coating on my lens or any scratches.

The other weird thing is ...I compared 3 other Z3C with mine. My Z3C was more like a redness kind... on the display. The other ones was more white. All adjustments was same...like display brightness, Auto brightness OFF and MAX brightness and White Balance.

My Z3C is produced 14W42 D5803. I think i will return it to Sony and see what they can do.

Can you plz tell us which production date you Z3C was made ......  Maybe Sony got a another production issue.

You need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Hi, it's 14W44. But as for returning it, I'm worried it will be thrown back at me as it's just a staining on the lense from my finger! But I am concerned if I attempt to clean it and it is a coating of some sort, then they also reject it! I shall try and upload a picture of the lense later.
Thanks

Before spontaneously cracking, my previous Z3C had the belmishing issue.

Unfortunately it's back on the new back cover I got so will need to send it in for service, AGAIN.

This is what it looks like and it really is ruining the pictures during low light.
