Apparently the new updated version of Android 5.0.2 (fw 14.5.A.0.242) for Xperia (C6902) has some shortcomings.
After being updated to the new version of Android 5 at local SONY Service Center, my mobile – Xperia versioned Z1, has encountered more unendurable problems which I have never seen when using Android 4.4.4 (fw 14.4.A.0.157). To name a few:
1. When I listen to music, the speaker’s volume through the Walkman app is dim; though I turn on the AudioClear, the sound quality in this updated version is much less than that of the previous one.
2. The camera’s motion is shaking slowly. Its motion isn’t so rapid as it used to be, especially, the device quickly gets hot when I use the camera. The image quality is so poor; in comparison to the last version, the photos are not shape though I have adapted the definition settings up to 20.7Mpx.
3. The device’s performance and productivity decrease, it lags and is not smooth when I switch to different pages. Because the device easily gets hot, the battery diminishes quickly, moreover, the charging consumes more time in comparison to the last version 4.4.4 though I’m using SONY genuine charger.
I hope that SONY will take these pieces of feedback into consideration and check if these are shortcomings of the new updated version of Android, then SONY will be able to release the fixed version which will be more compatible with SONY’s products for betterment. To tell the truth, I want to get back to the last version of Android 4.4.4 to avoid aforementioned problems.
