Sudden bad battery life

I've seen all of the posts about bad battery life after upgrade.

I upgraded about a month ago and saw no change until about 2 days ago. All of the battery drain tallys up under Display, but I doubt that is true.

Obviously there is an app that upgraded or I used that started this condition. I just cleared all of the google caches, will see if tht does it. 

I do not play games or music on my phone. I rarely watch videos, but did from facebook recently which is the best clue that I have.

Any ideas on suspect apps. Likely we can't remove a google app permanantly but there must be an app for killing them regularly.

There is another thread here that outlines in detail however,

Shutting off BT, WiFi, NFC and Data service

Then clearingthe cache on all Google Apps

shut down and restart the phone

then turn data, wifi, etc back on

appears to fix ths

only 18% battery usage in 5 hours including a 77 minute phone call.
