Can not register Xperia 5 II / Kann Xperia 5 II nicht registrieren

Hello

 

i can not register my Xperia 5 II.

My Phone has two IMEI Numbers, when I type them in the registration dialog, i get a error message and can not click save. the two IMEI Numers hat " /05 " in the and, but the i can not type it like that.

How can I register the Xperia 5 II with two IMEI Numbers?

try to dial *#06# in your device to see your IMEI,,

You'd need to enter one IMEI number as one is enough to identify and register the phone as each single number is unique, enter only the first one and it's made up of 15 digits.

I have the same problem, It wont accept either of my IMEIs, and I also have different IMEIs on my box compared to what I have on the phone. Want to register for the free headphones but it seems like its troublesome...

Then I’m not alone...

Hope they fix this soon enough since it would be really bad if we don’t get the headphones because of this...

Same problem for me. Really frustrating. Will probably return the phone tomorrow.

I contacted Sony customer service by phone today. They sent me a direct link to the campaign. No point for me to post the link here, since it's country specific.

 

So now I have registered my purchase and just have to wait and see if I get new headphones (Sony WH-1000XM3). I can return my phone until 14 days after my purchase date. If I don't get a confirmation that I will receive the headphones, then I will return the phone.

Had a response from the UK support on this issue : 

"

Kindly be informed that we have received feedback from the relevant department, and they have reported a work around the issue, when registering your product, choose "other" from the model list and enter the correct IMEI, and it should register fine, and the website will be updated later with the correct models.

"

So that's the official response I have atm
