Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 Fingerprint Problems

Hello

I currently have Xperia 5, I was just wondering if any of yous still have problems with the Fingerprint sensor.

the FPS was working flawlessly before the update to android 10. then the Jan security patch completely broke it. as with latest security update it become more manageable, able to get the phone unlocked 3 out 5 times in one try...

I have just updated to the latest software version on my Xperia 1 and Fingerprint recognition seems to have disappeared completely. Not happy!!

If it's completely gone from the settings itself, this could be a hardware issue, happened to me once, had to repair as Xperia companion didn't help with the software repair, but if yours is a software bug, it could just work.

FP is more reliable in an app than unlocking the screen.

I have experia 1 went into settings kept saying sensor ok then sensor not OK rebooted phone in safe mode registered fingerprint while in safe mode works better than ever now
