I have a Bravia 4K GB ATV3 and BBC I player wouldnt download onto the TV, it said it was not compatible and the TV would say it’s not connected to WiFi but it was. An hour later I can’t even find iplayer in the App Store to download it, any ideas anyone would be greatly appreciated

As the BBC iPlayer is part of the base operating system are you running the latest software?
While 4K GB ATV is a recognisable description of a range of Sony Bravia TVs:-

https://www.trustedreviews.com/news/sonys-leaving-a-load-of-high-end-bravia-tvs-in-the-dust-3962970
it doesn’t tell us which TV it is exactly, to check against the BBC’s list of compatible Sony TVs:-
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/supported-devices/sony#2018
(2018 shown, but all model years are available there)
So can you find your Sony TV model number of the form that starts with KD-, see if you can find it in that BBC list or not, and report back here?
Hi I believe we have the KD-55XF90xx we did have BBC iplayer playing yesterday but it had started to get very glitchy so I read somewhere you should delete it and reload it and now can’t even find it to reload it
I wouldn’t have recommended deleting the app, though I might have recommended deleting its cache.
But go into YouView (which might now be under Live & Catchup TV, though I think your 2018 TV precedes this change) and it may very well come back.
Sadly nothing there once I searched for YouView or Live & Catchup TV, I can see it again when I search for it, but still says not compatible with the TV!
