BBC iplayer app not working

I bought a KD-43XE7073 tv last week and none of the BBC or ITV apps work. If I select them it simply takes me back to the TV programme.  5OD works fine.  I've made sure the software is up to date.

I've seen there have been a few posts regarding this but can't seem to spot a solution.  Can anyone help (in an idiot proof step by step way!).

Thanks for reading but the problem has resolved this morning after unplugging the TV overnight.
