Bluetooth does not discover devices to pair.
Hello.
I have a Sony Android Tv x80c (x8005c) that i recently acquired.
It seems that this tv is having problems discovering bluetooth devices, i recently purchased a gamepad that my tv is unable to find. The problem is not from the gamepad since i already tested it in my windows laptop, my android phone and on my ios phone, it worked without any problems. But my Sony Android Tv bluetooth seems to not find the device.
What other options do i have to try force the tv find my device? Is there any know issue that relates with this problem?
Best,

Hi @mehboob1011 Would you please provide the model number of your TV. Not all TVs have the appropriate Blutooth Profile to pair to audio devices.

Hi @mehboob1011 KD55XF7596 only supports Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. No audio (A2DP) support.

Hi @mehboob1011
A Bluetooth transmitter (dongle) perhaps plugged into the Optical, USB or 3.5mm Jack may work. I would start a new thread asking that specific question. Personnaly I wouldn't buy a TV without the A2DP Bluetooth profile so I have no experience or suggestions.
You should note that Sony has never ever included A2DP support for its 7 series TVs but it is included in the higher priced 8(3) series and above. Seems a bit money pinching to me.
