Bravia remote compatibility

I have an older (2016?) KD-49XD7005 and whilst it has all I want for now, the remote doesn't have the Voice Command facility. The TV DOES have the Voice app in Settings.

Can I assume that a replacement Commander Remote would be compatible seeing as the TV seems ready to go?

Hi @winchester12g   As far as I can see you are ready to go as your TV is included in the applicable models. I have an older model (2015) and it works brilliantly with voice search. However I have a Sony Voice Touchpad remote so can’t say 100% that a voice remote will work but the chances are very good.

Which remote did you purchase as there seems to be a few available?
