I have a weird issue with Google Play Movies on my KD-49XE9005.
I can see my purchased movies, and I can press play and it buffers just fine, but the movie never plays, it is as if it is autopaused, because I can jump to various parts of the movie, and see the still image from the new position.
I can play trailers just fine, which tells me that it is not my connection. I can watch the movies just fine on my mobile devices. I even tried to cast it from a mobile devices, and it works just fine for 5 seconds, and it disconnects with error code 300.
Netflix, Youtube, Amazon, etc. also works fine.
Troubleshooting steps already taken:
Anyone else with this problem, if yes how did you solve it?
Many thanks in advance!!!

Hi @cgullestrup,
I haven't come across this myself - have you checked with Google Play to see if this is a known issue?
Also, is the firmware on your TV up to date? If not, updating might help.
If you're still having issues, I recommend getting in touch with Support so they can help you (details here).
Cheers,
C
We had the same problem driving us crazy. The TV was on the way back to the shop for refund until my 11 year old daughter found a solution (at least for us).
1) Return to Google Play Movies menu.
2) Switch the sound bar off.
3) Start movie. (Should play now)
4) Switch sound bar on.
(Last step sometimes causes movie to stop).
We are using CT290 connected via HDMI. Good luck.
I am having this same problem. No movies I own will play only the trailer for the movie?
